With a fast refresh rate (144 Hz) and support for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync, this curved monitor provides smooth graphics. This deal started in October, but is still quite good. For another $ 90, you can increase the RAM to 16 gigabytes, which is worth it, as the RAM here is soldered to the board. You get an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM and a 512 gigabyte SSD. This is a great looking laptop, and the specifications of this 14-inch model do it a lot for most people. HP’s Specter x360 (9/10, WIRED recommends) has been our favorite for many years. It has impressive features, but the battery life is not very good. The original Galaxy Chromebook also sells for $ 599 ($ 100 off). The bright, rich color screen isn’t as nice as the original 4K model, but it’s still much better than most Chromebooks. It has a sturdy, lightweight aluminum body with build quality that surpasses the much more expensive laptops I’ve tested. Samsung’s Galaxy Chromebook 2 (8/10, WIRED recommended) is one of the best Chromebooks on the market. The frames around this screen are thin enough to forget from time to time that they are even there. But its most notable feature is the live 4K touch screen. This Razer laptop has a respectable 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of SSD. In addition, you get many ports – HDMI, two USB-A ports and USB-C (with the ability to Thunderbolt 4 and can be used as a charging port). This version has 16 gigabytes of RAM and 1 terabyte device, which should be up to almost anything you can throw into it. The 11th generation Intel Core i7 chip offers great performance and long battery life. This lightweight laptop is one of our favorites.
